I am still unpacking from WMC and will put up a separate post-conference play-by-play tonight or tomorrow with a few pics…including a photo with one of my personal house HEROES. First up, a remix of ACDC’s Thunderstruck from Haterboy and Van Hagen. This remix will be part of the debut release from the new LoveHertz label in Germany.

I’m sure you all remember the Toxic Avenger remix I posted of The Fire And Reason. Well, the group is now posting their entire new “Shut Up And Dance” EP for free. “Sugar Koma” is the official single and the most dance-floor friendly tune, but the rest of the EP is more than worth listening to as well, spanning quite a range from moody and melodic to uptempo and driving. They are also playing a slew of shows in conjunction with the release, so if you’re in the area, support The Fire And Reason!

Next, the infamous Italian club night “Excuse Me” is releasing a mix with all your favorite bangers. The night has been called “trashy hedonism and sardonic attitude in perfect balance” by The Fly in the UK and the tracklist should give you an idea why they they garner that kind of press. Enjoy and see if you can guess the last track…they intentionally left it off the list. Pretty damn funny. I have a good idea what/who it is but I’m not sharing!
