Sorry for the random difficulties over the past couple of days. Firefox was acting buggy, due to some faulty coding courtesy of third party publishing program Ecto…grrr. Everything is fixed now (minus some minor formatting) so dsquared should be up on Hypem.com within a couple days!!
Speaking of frustrations though, there have been some odd happenings at gigs over the past couple of days, including:
-Random guy being escorted out of club and then pulling the fire alarm because he was upset over being kicked out.
-Guy being kicked out and crashing through club’s front door (made of glass). The glass shattered everywhere…the guy got pulled back into the club via a back entrance by three security guards. Uh oh.
-Someone accusing me of being discriminatory because I wouldn’t play hip hop.

People unplugging gear makes me crazy!
I guess they think the DJ or performer isn’t really doing anything and by unplugging things they’ll expose the fraudulent performance or something. But all it really does is give the sound guys a heart attack and ruin everybodies fun…

Hahaha Couldn’t help my self when i saw club mischiefs!
Saw a guy so smashed at a boys noise set in melbourne that he was on stage trying to touch the mixer while he was peforming ended up with the guy jumping off the stage over the railing only to get his foot caught on the way over and down he went into 2 massive guards!
And a a guy who managed to get on a balcony (inside) in the club and dance on the railing while bottles were being thrown at him and landing on security guards!

hmmm . . .
there was the time this random kid kept going up and trying to “scratch” the record that Dmitri (from Deee-lite, not from Paris) was playing at a rave in Pittsburgh. the kid finally succeeded and was dragged off by somebody (whether for accolades or punishment, i know not) . . .
we’ve had several “oh hell no i’m not getting kicked out” re-entry attempts at MJQ, but i think the one that takes the cake is the dude that came back in his CAR and ran over some kids in the parking lot. the same dude ended up being arrested for the murder of a well-known cabbie a few weeks later . . .
jeez, THAT was grim. on a more whimsical note, last Saturday I had a girl beg me to play Madonna _right now_, and when I told her to wait she made me tell her that the gap in her teeth was cute before she would leave me alone. (it was aiight.)
