Why the hell didn’t I put this up yesterday so I could have beaten Discobelle to the punch? Oh yeah, because I was in a hit and run…fucker. Aside from a split lip that makes me look like I have bad Angelina-esque injections I’m ok, but the car is definitely going in the shop. Sigh.

In any case, Bryan Cox is the self-proclaimed “fidget master” from New York. Wether that title will ultimately prove passé in the next year or so remains to be seen, but in the meantime, hey, it works. “Where You At” is solid, with some definite throwback sounds and a dash of DJ Dan. Cox’s background on the likes of Eden Recordings is still very much apparent in all his tunes - hard disco with a bit of fidget - and makes him a nice crossover artist. Oh, and did I mention there are also two remixes by Gaetan and 3AIC? Sweet!
