So finally, I decided to incorporate mixes into the blog instead of just having singles. It seemed like enough people were receptive to having them on here and damn, I do get a lot of them sent to me. Entirely fitting, I just finished a mix that ONLY uses songs I’ve posted here on this blog – so what better way to kick off everything than to feature it?
“dsquared Vol. 1″ features some of my favorites and reader favorites from the blog over the past six months or so. Remixes of the likes of Tiga, Axwell and Calvertron make appearances by names you all know and love…DJ Kue, Breakdown, FnDannyBoy (Mother Superior), Reset!, Riva Starr and much much more. Personally, I think it’s f*cking cool that in Chicago you can play a ‘mainstream’ venue…and play exactly what Jem has outlined below. Game, set, match.
